When looking for a CPA or Certified Public Accountant, potential clients are searching for skilled and highly trained individuals. This profession is one that requires a great deal of dedication, work and education. Professionals in this business are known as accountants. Each CPA business or firm must have a well-designed logo in order to attract business and become successful. CPA logos, like other types, will need to consist of certain design elements in order to aid in the business being lucrative. These elements of design are briefly discussed in the following.
Logo Images
Designs for CPA logos should include certain images that will symbolize a professional business that values accuracy, efficiency, and quality service. A CPA logo needs to be one that appears very formal and business oriented as possible. Many CPA logos do not include an image. When an image is desired, it must be one with a simple design that is sleek and contemporary in style. One should never be selected with great detail or complicated design. This will take away from the professional appearance of the CPA logo. Initials representing the company or business name usually replace any sort of image in a CPA logo design.
Design Color Choices
An important element of the CPA logo design is the color choice. Color will play a major role in the success of your logo design. Color gives character and appeal to any logo. Most CPA logos include green, blue, brown, black and white. These colors are considered standard for most professional business logos. However, any logo designer should consider the standards in the state and country in which the logo will be used as each usually has their own. Bright or vibrant colors can seem tacky or unprofessional; however, these may be standard in certain areas. When possible, one color is often best for use in a logo and no more than two colors should ever be used. Any more than two colors will appear overwhelming and negatively effect the logo design.
Choosing a Font
One of the most difficult choices in elements for a CPA log is the selection of the font to be used. In some cases, there are guidelines that must be followed in choosing the font for the CPA profession. Designers will need to check the area standards before making a final decision about the correct font to use. Many CPA logos consist of TrueType fonts such as Myriad, Adobe and Microsoft. A clear, easily viewed font is the best type to select. This allows the potential client to easily read and remember the CPA logo. This helps in identifying with the business and also creates return clients.
Logo Text Decisions
Not many CPA logos include very much if any text. If text is chosen for a CPA logo, it is kept to a bare minimum of less than four to five words. Not many slogans are ever attached to the design of this sort of logo. When text is selected, it most generally is positioned at the bottom of the logo design in a straight line or curved around the bottom of the design.
