The heart symbol is common in many types of logos and can represent a wide variety of meanings. 4. Wedding Planning: Companies that plan weddings and offer services from invitations to reception catering and flowers, make use of the heart shape in all areas. They appear in their logos, promotions, in advertisements, and often can be found on printed materials and decorating items.
5. Holidays: Valentine’s Day could not happen if it weren’t for all the heart shaped items for sale. As soon as the Christmas holiday season is over, products appear such as cards, table cloths, napkins, boxes of candy, cakes, candies, cups, mugs, jewelry, and there’s even heart shaped pizza created by pizza take-out companies like Papa Murphey’s Take and Bake Pizza. The heart shape is incorporated into many business’s logos just for the holiday season.
6. Charitable Groups: Charities incorporate a heart in their logos to represent love and kindness for others. Food banks, homeless shelters, religious groups, disaster relief organizations, family assistance groups, abuse prevention organizations, animal rescue groups, and many charitable groups worldwide.
7. Word Substitution: For years, the heart shape has been substituted for the word ‘love’ in many logos. The heart shape quickly became associated with the word love when included in a text name or tag line. Pet Love Clinic would be used in a logo with the word ‘Pet,’ then a heart shape, and finally the word ‘Clinic.”
A recognized symbol of love, charity, medical services, and romance, the heart shape is seen in logos for businesses and organizations all over the world.
