This font style is usually one that has been a clear representation of the branch for many years. When you can deviate from this style of font, you should continue to choose a handsome style of font. Any style of font that is used should be applied to the logo in a bold typeface. This helps to accentuate the font and make it more easy to view. A logo that can not be read easily will not be successful in promoting the organization.
Adding any text to a military logo will depend again on the branch. Some branches have certain phrases or slogans such as “Semper Fi.” Others may have none and only want the text to state the name of the military branch. It is best to limit any text that is used to only four or five words. However, with military logos, you can use as many words as their traditional phrase or slogan contains.
