Color. Color is an important element of design. You will need to choose two or three colors for your logo. These colors should clearly represent the feel and the identity of your business or company. If your company is one with a professional goal, you will want to choose modern colors in shades that attract. Most all logos are best designed without the use of bright or vibrant colors. These colors can overwhelm the design and cause it to be less memorable in the minds of the potential client, patron or customer. Image. An image for your logo will need to be chosen. Some choose to use an image that represents the products offered or the services available. Text and font. Font style is another important element of design. The style of font chosen should be one that is easily read. Any font used should be placed in bold typeface. After choosing the font, it is important to select the text for the logo. Some use text to display a slogan or phrase associated with the business. This text should be limited to four or five words in order to prevent a cluttered appearance.
